theExperiment: Living by AI’s Rules - This'll go well

Edit: This is being rewritten, simply because it’s not true anymore. I wanted this to be the case but we’re way too far off just asking AI to do a thing and it happening. It was 85% me and 15% AI in the projects I’ve done so far, and I don’t really feel like continuing with the shtick of AI DID IT!! when it straight up isn’t true. The major issues with AI still exist today that existed when this whole thing cooked off. It still straight up makes shit up when it doesn’t know an answer, it can’t do simple math still, and it comes to some of the dumbest conclusions I’ve ever seen. “Ok ChatGPT, if X=Y and Y=Z, then X=Z, correct?” – “NOPE, that’s not correct because my training wheels don’t let me say that”……

So here’s the deal: this whole thing is one big, wild experiment. I’m using AI to not just help me with ideas or suggestions, but to completely take the wheel. The concept is simple: I ask AI to guide me, and whatever it says—no matter how crazy, ambitious, or downright ridiculous—I do it. No exceptions (well, almost).

The whole point? To find out if AI is as powerful (or as clueless) as people say. Can it come up with stuff I’d never think of? Can it actually make impossible ideas work? Or will it all just crash and burn in spectacular fashion? I have no idea—but that’s what makes it fun.

Here’s the thing though—I’m not completely reckless. I do know that some of what the AI tells me to do is ridiculous or downright dumb. That’s the point: to see what happens anyway. But if the AI suggests something dangerous or harmful, I’m obviously not going to blindly go for it. This is an experiment, not a stunt for clicks.

You’ll see the experiments play out here in my blog, on TwiX, and YouTube, where I document the whole thing—successes, failures, and the inevitable “what was I thinking?” moments. On X, I keep you updated in real-time and share the AI’s wilder instructions, so you get to watch it all unfold as it happens. The blog will lag behind a week or so as I get time to update it, and YouTube is whenever I feel like editing video.

So, if you’re curious to see how far AI can really go—or how far I’ll go following its lead—stick around. Things are about to get weird.

Let’s see if the machines know what they’re doing.

WTF is this đź’©?

Oh look, you’ve stumbled onto my site.

This is where I document my random projects, questionable experiments, and whatever else I decide is worth posting. Is it organized? No. Is it always useful? Absolutely not. Is it regularly updated? Eh. But if you’re into chaotic tech builds and the occasional half-decent idea, you might just enjoy it here.

Feel free to stick around if you want to see what happens when ambition meets procrastination.

Welcome to the mess. You’ve been warned.
